What you'll do
- ✓ Design distributed systems handling 100K+ concurrent GPU jobs
- ✓ Build APIs for routing compute jobs to optimal hardware
- ✓ Optimize database performance at petabyte scale
- ✓ Lead code reviews for a 4-person backend team
- ✓ Participate in on-call rotation (1 week per quarter)
You should have
- ✓ 8+ years backend engineering
- ✓ Experience with Go, Rust, or C++
- ✓ Familiarity with Kubernetes and distributed systems
- ✓ Shipped systems at Netflix / Meta / GCP scale
Nice to have
- ◦ GPU computing background
- ◦ Terraform / Infrastructure-as-code experience
- ◦ Open source contributions in systems software
